How To Use the Fabric, Carpet & Upholstery Repair Kit
STEP 1: Clean & Trim
Clean thoroughly and trim any loose fibres.
STEP 2: Mixing Colour Fibres
Blend fibres to match the original fabric.
STEP 3: Add Mix to Adhesive
Mix the prepared fibres with adhesive.
STEP 4: Apply Adhesive Mix
Apply the adhesive mix to the damaged area.
STEP 5: Cover with Loose Fibres
Sprinkle fibres to fully cover the surface.
STEP 6: Leave to Dry
Allow to dry for 12–24 hours.
Carpet & Upholstery Repair Tips
✅ Ensure the damaged area is thoroughly cleaned and loose fibres are trimmed.
✅ Small cuts, burns, or holes may not require a fabric backing.
✅ If padding is missing under the damage, fill it in with cotton or similar material.
✅ Mix fibres carefully to match the original colour as closely as possible.
✅ Apply only a thin layer of adhesive — a small amount is sufficient.
✅ Cover the entire repair area evenly with the mixed colour fibres.
✅ For best results, allow the repair to dry overnight or for up to 24 hours.

What types of damage can this kit repair?
The kit is designed for small holes, cigarette burns, cuts, gouges, and minor tears in fabric, carpet, and upholstery. It’s not suitable for large rips or high-stress areas.
Do I need to use the fabric backing every time?
No. For very small holes or surface burns, the fabric backing is not necessary. It is mainly used to support larger or deeper damage.
How long does the repair need to dry?
We recommend letting the repair dry for at least 12 hours, or ideally overnight. For the most durable result, allow up to 24 hours before using or vacuuming the area.
Can I colour-match the fibres exactly?
While an exact match may not always be possible, using the mixing guide and mixing the included fibres allows you to get very close to the original shade. Always test your mix on a small area first.
Can this kit be used on vehicle seats or carpets?
Yes. This kit works well on car seats, carpets, and fabric upholstery. Just make sure the area is clean and trimmed before starting the repair.
