FAQs

What types of glass can this kit be used on?

This kit is suitable for all glass types, including automotive windshields, tempered glass, laminated glass, mirrors, shower screens, windows, and household glass.

What tools do I need to use this kit?

This kit is designed for use with variable speed rotary polishers featuring either M14 x 2 or 5/8”-11 thread.

What kind of scratches will this kit remove?

It effectively removes fine scratches, water spots, limescale, haziness, and light surface marks. For deeper scratches, we recommend using our abrasive pads prior to polishing.

Is the cerium oxide compound ready to use?

Yes, the GP-PRO Glass Polishing Compound is pre-mixed and suspended for immediate use. Simply apply directly to the felt pad—no mixing required.

How much area can I polish with this kit?

With the 250ml polishing compound included, you can restore approximately 10–20 square meters of glass, depending on the severity of damage and number of passes.

Can I use this on curved or vertical glass?

Yes, it works just like flat glass. On curved areas—especially inner curves—it can help to use the smaller pads, depending on the size and degree of the curve.

What is the surface sealant for, and when do I use it?

The Easy Clean Coating is applied after polishing to protect the surface from water, dust, and residue buildup. It enhances clarity and makes future cleaning easier.

How long should I polish each area?

Polish each section for 2–5 minutes at 1500–2000 RPM. If the scratch or defect remains, reapply compound and polish again until satisfied.

Can this kit remove wiper blades streaks or haziness?

Yes, this is one of the most common uses. The polishing compound is specifically formulated to restore clarity from wiper blade streaks and chemical residue.
